Table tennis

Today I learned how to play table tennis and. You're are supposed to put the ball on the bat then bounce the bat up and down  without making it fall of the bat. Then next you had to count without it falling before you have to count again.

Now you have to flip the bat and ball and count and if you make it you're are going to flip the bat 2 times then bounce the ball on your knee. After that you're  going to flip the ball again and make it go on your knee then catch it one hand.

Second last you have to balance the ball on the bat, but if it falls you sit down.

Lastly there were 3 tables and you have to line up and wait your turn, then you have to verse the champ and if you win you become the new champ. You then you have to beat other people, if you defeat everyone you play against you are the champ.

The Skittle Poppers Prototype

 My company, Skittle Poppers, invented a party popper using different types of materials.

First we tested different types of parts to see which one is the best.  For example: we used the plastic cup instead of the paper cup. We tested both of these materials to see which one would shoot out the confetti further away. We then figured out that the plastic cup was better than the paper cup.

Next we fixed some of the updated options that we were going to use.  We changed the small plastic cup to a bigger cup, we changed the confetti into a mix of things, we changed the striker into a whiteboard marker, and we changed the elastic band into a thick band.  The striker was the best option because it was strong.

Lastly, we tested the prototype twice to see if there were any problems or there was too much confetti.  For example: We had a problem with the fuzz balls because the fuzz balls were too heavy and too big. This prototype worked and it was effectively strong.

I learned a lot about how to design a party popper and it's needs. My company, Skittle Poppers, found out all the parts were effectively strong.  

Animals Rescue Center

 I did some work about a book called The Animals Rescue Center. Animals Rescue Center is about saving animals like koalas and birds that have been in an oil spills and baby kangaroos, possums and some volunteers help the birds that have been in oil spills and some vets too. 

Some people help koalas that had to be taken care of.

Some people also find baby kangaroos or possums because their mum must be captured or killed. 

Frisbee

Today I practiced my balance skills using a Frisbee.

First throw a Frisbee at my partner.  

Secondly I threw my Frisbee with my partner standing behind me trying to catch it.

Next I had to catch the Frisbee from Joe, then balance and aim for the net.

We played a game of ultimate Frisbee. I enjoyed playing but I need to work on my balance while throwing.

Balancing Challenge

 We made a challenge on our own.

First, we wrote down the ideas for the challenge. Our idea was to balance on one leg by doing a squat from holding the milk bottle in front of you.

Next, we try it out to avoid their tipping point.

Last, last we took a photo and made a poster as a group.

This activity was hard because the milk bottle was heavy when I was trying to bend my legs down.

Maori

 today i was learning how to say up or down or between or right and left and we also Said wear is the picnic or wear is the scissors in Maori.and we also played a game cold semen said but the person said the word.
